Sputter Deposition Chamber

September 2024 - Present

Lead a team that designed, assembled, and tested a DC sputter depostion chamber used for thin film deposition in association with HackerFab UWaterloo. Sputter has been handed over to other team members while I advise on the functionality of physical vapor deposition and general mechanical design practices.

DLP Lithography Station Modification

April 2025 - Present

Co-Lead a team at HackerFab UWaterloo responsible for the creation and usage of a DLP lithography station for maskless lithography. This project is a modification of the DLP lithography station created by the CMU branch of HackerFab better suited to fit the needs of the HackerFab at UWaterloo.

Handheld Mechanical Calculator

May 2025 - Present

Inspired by the Curta Calculator, one of the only mass produced handheld mechanical calculator, developed by Curt Herzstark in the 1930's my goal is to design and produce a variation of this calculator with noticable upgrades.

I taught myself HTML, CSS, and javascript in a few weeks instead of paying for Wix, SquareSpace or Webflow. I firmly believe that that teaching oneself how to do something from scratch is more impactful than using a tool to get the same outcome. Once one understands how to do something from scratch then they can use the tools.
